I wanted to show my year 7s about Fiestas. I thought that once we have already done all the assessments we could have a little bit of fun. I know quite well San Fermín as I am originally from Pamplona, so I thought of showing them a video of El encierro to see their reaction, which is normally quite a strong one.
I found that the videos from RTVE were very good but it needed some explanation adapted to their language skills. So, I downloaded one and I subtitled it with some sentences, especially to reinforce hay, es and son. Just for fun I added the music of Las peñas and this particular one belongs to La única. A bit of music just to get in the festive mood.

There are plenty more vocabulary to do so it can also be used with year 8, or even for ser and estar. I made a powerpoint to introduce the sentences and also a worksheet (El encierro)
I have tried the video and the powerpoint and it worked really well, I am hoping to complete the worksheet next week.
